Production for Beyond the Dark is moving very fast now! Too many great talented people involved! Everyone is putting in hard work during this very HOT summer! It couldn't be going any better (Well if we actually had a budget, it would be....) Other than that it's been amazing!! This segment took hours and hours to prepare and plan. There were so many elements to this film that it could have just fallen apart! But it didn't and everything and everyone was great!!! The BIG Zombie action sequence shot in Plainfield township and Grand Rapids. Stacey Saunders (Actress) and Matthew Douglas Grzeszak (Director) Pose for the camera. Ryan-Iver Klann and Benjamin E. Hanes get dirty and bloody. Ross Scharphorn (Producer) stands with the two main characters on the set.
The Zombie weekend brought out the news/press to take a closer look at the production of Beyond the Dark!
Killer weekend!! Shot through all the scenes for "Infection", where zombies were chasing down humans with chaos and destruction in the streets!! The shooting went incredibly smooth thanks to the best cast and crew!! Love working with each and everyone one of you!! Ryan-Iver Klann (Rick) and Benjamin E. Thanks again to everyone that made the shoot in Sand Lake! Ron Shedd as Joe, battles an Evil Creature in the deep woods and all it took was some long nights, rainy/ hot days, very hard work, creativity, a lot of bug spray, water and great talented people! This segment felt like it was torn from the pages of the script just like we had envisioned it!! Ron Shedd (Joe) will kill you! The Cast and Crew pose in between shooting. Here's to a long weekend of getting beat up and worn out! Many sacrifices must be made for low-budget independent film-making, but in the end it's all worth it! Sunset brightens Ron Shedd (Joe) in the final scene. Setting up the deep woods battle between Joe and the Creature.

Ending up shooting less then planned on this Memorial Weekend, but still shot some great footage! Real creative shoots that were quick and painless. Curtis McZee II runs into a reoccurring character in this quick phone conversation scene. Recording the radio portion of "Infection" at Chris Slonske Studios, with Stephanie Skinner, Norm Galaszewski and Chris Slonske.
Moving right along with another segment! Unexpected loud traffic down Plainfield Avenue on a Sunday afternoon, but the scene was shot quickly! Again, more talented actors/actresses that appear in the film! Now hang tight and you'll soon find out what's in the TV!
